Kremenchug cartridge works «STM» generated considerable interest at the International Defence Exhibition in the UAE
The products of the Kremenchug cartridge works «STM» («SPECTEHNOMASH») generated deep interest at the International Defence Exhibition IDEX-2021 that took place on February 21-25, 2021 in the United Arab Emirates. This exhibition is one of the most prestigious in the world and takes place every two years.
Sergii Gonchar, the director of STM, said that dozens of negotiationa had been held at the exhibition with potential customers from different countries. And the plant is waiting for new foreign contracts.
«Our ammunition plant is the only one in Ukraine. We successfully compete in the global market of high-tech products, manufacture equipment for the production of military ammunition for customers from NATO countries. We hope that our opportunities will arouse interest in Ukraine as well,» — Gonchar said.
He said that in the near future the STM plant will start producing cartridge cases and bullets, and later — a full cycle of production of ammunition, including hunting and sports. Most products are planned for export.
According to Director of the enterprise, Kremenchug plant «STM» is a socially responsible enterprise. «Currently, the plant employs almost 150 people, we have many specialists with unique experience. But this is only the first stage — with the launch of the new production, we will increase the number of employees. We also plan to support social projects, » emphasized the head of the plant.
